We decided board games for the very young needed a serious kick in the pants to make them truly fascinating, so we threw a little money at the problem. Twenty-five cents, to be exact. It turned out to be a good move. It may seem like common cents but, with kindergarteners, there’s a huge difference between dull plastic tokens and bright shiny pennies.
